Waipahu Community School for Adults​

Waipahu Community School for Adults (WCSA) is comprised of five campuses with a number of sites located on both Oahu and the Big Island.  WCSA is a place where learning never ends and therefore, we are committed to serving our community's adult education needs.  We hope to be of service to you as your community partner.

Waipahu Campus Office Relocated

Waipahu Office Relocated to Temporary Site (Effective 3/20/23)
The Waipahu office has relocated to a temporary site, located at 94-521 Farrington Hwy (Waipahu District Annex across the street from Waipahu Intermediate School) in Waipahu.  Please call 808-307-9677 for assistance.

Spring 2023 Session

Spring Term 2 Updates (Updated 3/24/23)
Waipahu Campus is accepting registration only for ELA students until April 12 (call the Waipahu Office to register).  Registration for new and returning students has ended.

Waianae Site is still accepting registration for new or returning students until April 3.
​Enrollment for Spring Term 2 still being accepted at select campuses
WCSA's Spring Term 2 will run from March 28 to May 15 (check with your campus for specific start and end dates).  If you are interested in enrolling for our Spring Term 2, please click on the campus below in which you wish to enroll at.

Free Laptop Giveaway

Refurbished laptops are available through a partnership with the Hawaii Remote Work Project/Department of Business Economic Development (DBEDT).  Interested students must be currently enrolled at WCSA and are required to participate in a one hour class.  Please click on your campus below to fill out the application form.

Daily Wellness Check and Return to School/Work Criteria Flyer
Indoor and outdoor masking is optional, but highly encouraged.  HIDOE employees, contracted service providers, visitors and students must complete a wellness check each morning before going to school or work if fully vaccinated or not.  Please report any illness or COVID-19 exposure to the school or supervisor.  Review all of the requirements by clicking on the Daily Wellness Check and Return to School/Work Criteria Flyer to the left.
​If you are not feeling well, please do not visit our campuses/sites or attend classes.  You may call our office instead and we will be happy to assist you.

HiSET® Status Update - HiSET® to continue to be offered in State of Hawaii

January 2022 - The HiSET® program was acquired from ETS by a company called PSI Services (PSI), thereby enabling us to continue offering the HiSET® program, along with the HiSET® test option, to our communities within the State of Hawaii.  For more information, contact your WCSA campus.

  • Enrollment is open to all persons 18 years and over, regardless of race, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, and religion.  Be prepared to present photo identification.
  • Students ages 16 to 17 must be officially released from a public high school in the State of Hawaii before admission into academic classes.
  • Unregistered persons, including children, are not allowed in adult classes.

  • The school reserves the right to remove, from class and school grounds, any student or individual exhibiting inappropriate behavior.
